Associating a Subnet with a Route Table

Scenarios

After a route table is associated with a subnet, the routes in the route table control the routing for the subnet and apply to all cloud resources in the subnet. Determine the impact on services before performing this operation.

Notes and Constraints

A subnet can only be associated with one route table.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.

  2. Click image1 in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.

  3. On the console homepage, under Network, click Virtual Private Cloud.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Route Tables.

  5. In the route table list, locate the row that contains the target route table and click Associate Subnet in the Operation column.

  6. Select the subnet to be associated.

  7. Click OK.
