Changing an Instance Description¶

After an instance is created, you can add a description.
Procedure¶
Log in to the management console.
Click
in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.Click
in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > GaussDB. In the navigation pane on the left, click GaussDB(for MySQL).On the Instances page, locate the instance that you want to edit the description for and click
in the Description column to edit the instance description. Then, click OK.Alternatively, click the instance name to go to the Basic Information page. In the DB Instance Information area, click
in the Description field to edit the instance description.Note
The instance description can contain up to 64 characters, and cannot start with and end with a space. Only letters, digits, hyphens (-), underscores (_), periods (.), and spaces are allowed.
To submit the change, click
