Managing the DeH

Scenario

You can view the information about your DeHs on the management console, including names, types, AZs, auto placement, status, the number of vCPUs (including the number of available vCPUs), memory (including the available memory size), the number of physical CPU sockets, and the number of physical cores.

You can also manage your DeHs on the management console, for example, enabling or disabling auto placement, and releasing DeHs.

Procedure

Enabling or disabling auto placement

  1. Log in to the Workspace management console.
  2. Click Dedicated Host.

    The DeH information page is displayed.

  3. Locate the DeH for which the Auto Placement switch will be enabled or disabled in the list of DeHs and enable or disable the Auto Placement switch.

Releasing DeHs

  1. Log in to the Workspace management console.
  2. Click Dedicated Host.

    The DeH information page is displayed.

  3. In the list of DeHs, locate the DeH to be released and select Release under Operation.

    The Release dialog box is displayed.

  4. Click OK to release the DeH.

Releasing DeHs in Batches

  1. Log in to the Workspace management console.
  2. Click Dedicated Host.

    The DeH information page is displayed.

  3. In the list of DeHs, select one or more DeHs to be released.

    You can concurrently select all DeHs on the current page by selecting the check box in the list header.

  4. Click Release in the upper left corner of the list.

    The Release dialog box is displayed.

  5. Click OK to release the DeHs.
