Function Description

Table 1 describes the functions of OBS Browser:

Bucket management

Creates and deletes buckets of different storage classes in specific regions (service areas) and changes bucket storage classes.

Object management

Manages objects by uploading (including multipart uploading), downloading, and deleting objects, and changing object storage classes.

Server-side encryption

OBS allows users to encrypt objects using server-side encryption so that the objects can be securely stored on OBS.

Bucket permissions

Manages bucket permissions, including bucket policies, access control lists (ACLs), and cross-origin resource sharing (CORS).

Access log recording

Records bucket access requests in logs for request analysis and log audit.

Lifecycle management

Supports the ability to set lifecycle rules for buckets to automatically delete expired objects.

Fragment management

Fragments are incomplete data in buckets generated due to data upload failures. Fragment management enables you to clear fragments that have been generated.

Object URL

Shares data using the object URL.

Large object upload

Uploads a single file or folder that is larger than 50 MB and less than 48.8 TB.

Batch upload

Uploads objects in batches.

Multipart upload

Uploads objects in multiparts.

Batch download

Downloads objects in batches.

External bucket adding

Allow you to manage data shared by other OBS users.

Task management

Allows you to upload, download, delete, and restore tasks.
