Adding a Queue Tag

Scenario

Add tags to identify DMS queues, facilitating queue classification and search.

  • A tag consists of a key and a value.
  • Each queue must have a unique tag key.
  • You can customize tags or use tags predefined by TMS.
  • You can add a maximum of 10 tag keys to a queue.

Prerequisites

A queue has been created.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click  in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region and a project.
  3. Click Service List, and choose Application > Distributed Message Service to launch the DMS console.
  4. In the navigation pane, choose Queue Manager.
  5. Click the name of a queue to which you want to add a tag.

    Details of the chosen queue are displayed.

  6. On the queue details page, click the Tags tab.
  7. Click Add Tag.
  8. On the Add Tag page, specify the tag key and value, or select a tag predefined by TMS.
  9. Click OK.
