Enabling or Disabling SSL

Scenarios

You can use SSL to encrypt the connection with databases. This section guides you on how to enable or disable SSL on the DDS console. When you create a DB instance, SSL is enabled by default. For details, see SSL Connection.

If the SSL connection is not required, see section Common Connection.

Enabling or disabling SSL will cause DB instance restart. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.
