Canceling or Deleting SAP HANA System Deployment (Using the Console)

Scenarios

You can delete resources using APIs provided by Heat to redeploy the SAP HANA system or delete related resources.

NOTE:

Delete the resources provisioned by the RTS console on the deletion page rather than on the ECS console. This is because only resources can be deleted on the public cloud management console, but the stack record in RTS cannot.

Procedure

  1. On the RTS service interface, click Delete to delete the created stack and resources.

    NOTE:
    • To delete a HANA ECS, log in to the public cloud management console or the HANA ECS to stop the HANA ECS, and then delete its stack.
    • To create an SAP HANA cluster after deleting the original one, create an NFS server.
    • The resources created by stack have dependency relationships. The stack can be deleted by performing reverse operations of that when it is deployed. For details, see the following procedure based on different deployment scenarios.

In the single-node scenario, you need perform the following operations:

      a. Unbind the EIP.

      b. Delete the ECS node.

      c. Delete the security group used by cloud services.

      d. Delete the subnet used by cloud services.

      e. Delete the network used by cloud services.

      f. Delete the key pair used by cloud services.

      g. Delete the VPC.

In the cluster scenario, you need to perform the following operations:

      a. Unbind the EIP.

      b. Delete the ECS cluster.

      c. Delete the NFS server node.

      d. Delete the Studio node.

      e. Delete the NAT server node.

      f. Delete the anti-affinity group.

      g. Delete the security group.

      h. Delete the subnet used by cloud services.

      i. Delete the network used by cloud services.

      j. Delete the key pair used by cloud services.

      k. Delete the VPC.
