Installing SAP HANA Studio and Configuring Other Functions

Scenarios

Check the running status of the SAP HANA system after creating an ECS. Then install and configure the SAP HANA Studio.

Procedure

  1. Check the running status of the SAP HANA system.

    1. Log in to the NAT server and switch to the SAP HANA node using SSH to check the mounted volumes.
Figure 1 Checking the mounted volumes
    2. Run the following command to switch to the SAP system administrator account:

The administrator username is $SIDadm which is automatically created during SAP HANA software installation.

For example, the username is s01adm.

      su - s01adm

    3. Run the following command to check whether the database process is running properly:

01 is the SAP HANA instance ID.

      sapcontrol -nr 01 -function GetProcessList

The command output is as follows. The dispstatus is GREEN indicating that the process is normal.
