BMSs can be applied to the following three scenarios:
Heavily regulated services with strict security requirements: Based on compliance and data security requirements for service deployment in financial and security industries, using physical servers ensures that resources can be exclusively used and realizes data isolation, controllability, and traceability.
High-performance computing (HPC): Supercomputing centers, gene sequencing, and graphics rendering place heavy demands on HPC that can process massive data in reliable, stable methods in real-time, considering that virtualization may adversely affect services.
Database host clusters: Some key databases of customers should be stored on physical servers with controllable resources and isolated networks rather than VMs or VMs with poor performance for security reasons. In addition, some database host clusters are not supported on VMs.
