Deleting Server

Function Description

This interface is used to delete an ECS. Users can use this interface to send messages to the compute node to clear the ECS memory, file, network, and storage resources and soft delete the database records.

Native code adjustment

In OpenStack Juno, when an ECS is deleted, all ports attached to the ECS will be deleted. In OpenStack Mitaka, when an ECS is deleted, ports that are created by users during the ECS creation cannot be deleted.

NOTE:

This function can be enabled or disabled, and supports the native processing mode in OpenStack Mitaka and the compatibility mode in OpenStack Juno. The native processing mode in OpenStack Mitaka is used by default. During upgrades, the compatibility mode in OpenStack Juno is used.
