Enabling IP as a Backend

Scenario

You can enable IP as a backend for an existing dedicated load balancer.

Constraints and Limitations

  • IP as a backend cannot be disabled after it is enabled.

  • The protocol of backend server groups can only be TCP, UDP, HTTP, or HTTPS.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.

  2. In the upper left corner of the page, click image1 and select the desired region and project.

  3. Click image2 in the upper left corner to display Service List and choose Network > Elastic Load Balancing.

  4. On the Load Balancers page, locate the load balancer and click its name.

  5. On the Summary tab, click Enable next to IP as a Backend.

  6. Click OK.
